ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan and China have a long history of close and pleasant relations; and Pak-China friendship is soaring to new peaks today.
The premier said that Pakistan’s strategic location makes it Asia’s premier trade, energy and transport corridor.
Speaking at the meeting with Chinese corporations’ delegation, which called on him at Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Tuesday, PM Nawaz Sharif said that from day one his government paid attention to revival of economy, resolving energy crisis, betterment of security situation and opportunities to investors. He said that the economic scenario of Pakistan has totally changed due to our efforts during the last four years and this is being accepted at the international level.
He was talking to China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation Board Chairman Gao Hongwei and China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation Board Chairman Zhao Xiaolong.
The PM said that Pakistan’s Investment Policy provides a comprehensive framework for creating conducive business environment for attraction of Foreign Direct Investment.
Nawaz Sharif stated that Pakistan’s cooperation with China will not only bring prosperity to both countries but also become a source of progress for the entire region.
The PM said that China-Pakistan friendship is witnessing new heights, which is manifested by CPEC. Nawaz invited Chinese entrepreneurs to take advantage of investment opportunities in Pakistan.
