ISLAMABAD: Indian forces, in an act of blatant aggression carried out unprovoked firing on the Line of Control on Saturday night, injuring two children, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria informed.
In a tweet, Zakaria said that two children aged 9 and 14 were injured in the firing carried out at Nakyal and Balakot sectors at 9:50PM on Saturday night.
Indian forces on Saturday also resorted to unprovoked firing in Kot Kehtera sector along the LoC, martyring a 60-year-old woman in Thandi Kassi village.
The ISPR said that Pakistani troops, however, retaliated and gave a befitting response to the firing and silenced the enemy’s guns. This was the third ceasefire violation by Indian forces in less than 10 days.
